What Is Webify?​

Webify starts with Web3 information sharing and aggregation, gradually opens the protocol, and evolves into a SocialFi ecosystem centered on community assets.

It already has Share, Hub, and DAO entry points. In the future, it will continue building topic communities, Community NFTs, paid content, chat, membership, ads, smart contract revenue settlement, and Webify Protocol.

How Is Webify Different From Reddit, Discord, and Telegram?​

Reddit is more focused on topic discussion. Discord and Telegram are more focused on real-time chat.

Webify will provide all of the following:

  • Posts and comments.

  • Articles and columns.
  • Community chat and channels.
  • Direct messages.
  • Membership and VIP.

Why Does Webify Start With Information Sharing?​

Web3 users need to discover information, share links, bookmark tools, and read updates every day.

These actions are early community behavior. Webify first validates information sharing and interaction, then accumulates content, user relationships, and contribution into topic communities, and finally turns communities into on-chain assets.

What Is Community NFT?​

Community NFT is the on-chain ownership and operating-right credential for a Webify community.

It can represent community management rights, configuration rights, asset issuance rights, and transfer capability. Whoever owns the Community NFT owns the core operating rights of that community.

Can Communities Be Traded?​

After a community is put on-chain and its Community NFT is minted, community ownership can circulate through NFT trading.

Can Communities Issue Their Own Assets?​

Yes.

Communities can issue different types of NFTs based on operating goals, including:

  • Membership NFT
  • VIP NFT
  • Reputation NFT
  • Free NFT
  • Paid NFT

Does Webify Support Community Chat?​

Yes.

Webify communities can have Discord-like chat spaces and create multiple channels under chat.

Can Users Send Direct Messages?​

Yes.

In the early stage, users can send DMs without adding each other as friends first.

How Can Creators Earn Revenue?​

Creators can earn revenue through:

The suggested baseline split is 70% author, 20% community, and 10% platform.

How Can Regular Members Gain Rights?​

Regular members can gain rights through effective contribution, such as:

  • Publishing high-quality content.
  • Curating the knowledge base.
  • Sharing valuable links.
  • Participating in governance.
  • Completing community tasks.
  • Inviting high-quality users.

Rights can include Points, badges, Reputation NFTs, task rewards, event eligibility, and future ecosystem incentive references.

When Will Webify Token Launch?​

Webify Token will launch after the product, communities, protocol, and ecosystem have real usage scenarios.
